No Fear, I am Here!!!

Don't call the cops I am not missing but I know that it has been way too long since I posted last but as the title of the blog says we have a busy life and summer is even worse. So we had an acceptionally busy summer this year, I will try to post little by little and get up to date eventually. So to start we had a BIG wedding this year, my baby sister got married and the whole family was part of the wedding. Louis did great as a ring bearer and made it both up and down the aisle without a hitch, we were proud, he also looked so cute in the mini tuxedo too. We had a great time and are excited to have Matt in our family, here are some of the hightlights!!!!

Memorial Day

So for Memorial Day we went camping in southern Minnesota, it wasn't the nicest weekend ever but you never know about the weather in Minnesota. We found some nice weather at times and enjoyed it when we could. Louis had a lot of fun playing with all the kids and enjoyed the parks and playground equipment, we didn't get to go in the pool but hopefully on the 4th we can do some swimming. Here are a couple of playground pictures.

I think that he had fun but I know that his dad had even more fun sliding and playing!

When camping you are outside even when it rains but that doesn't stop us.

And you know what happens when it rains........

It makes mud and Louis sure liked the mud, we had a lot of laudry to do when we got home but he had fun and so did the trucks.

After all of the playing in the sun and the rain everyone but Louis needed a nap. I think Jack got so excited to go fishing that he wore himself out and fell asleep fishing pole and all!!!!

And Dad was so busy riding his new RED BIKE that he needed a break too.

Coming soon Father's day pictures.

Happy Easter

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy easter early for a change! Louis is feeling much better after his strep throat a couple of weeks ago and is back being his busy self again. We are noticing that he is learning a lot more words and repeating more (better watch what we say!) I borrowed a couple of rabbits and took some fun easter pictures this year, if Proex can do why can't I? We had a lot of fun but if I am going to keep doing these "photo shoots" I may need to get an assistant because it is a lot of work keeping up with a 19 month old let alone 2 bunnies too, we got a couple of good ones though. Hope you all have a great easter.

Only In Minnesota

Well again it has been a long time since I last posted, it is amazing how time gets away from us. Now with summer just around the corner, maybe!, we will really be busy farming and camping and playing outside. It is getting a little warmer now and that means that we can go out and play some more, the only problem is that the snow is melting and we live in the country where everything is dirt so therefore mud is everywhere, you can't go over it, you can't go under it so you just have to go through it which if fine and dandy for a 1 1/2 year old boy in new rubber boot! I'm finding out that my moto needs to be "Everything can be washed". Only in Minnesota can we go from snow sledding at the Nielsen's cabin to jumping in mud puddles in 0ur back yard all in the same week. Louis is getting to be more vocal and more rough at times, just this weekend he rammed his little firetruck into the kitchen wall and put a dent in the sheetrock, then he backed up and did it one more time, good thing his dad is a contractor! Boys will be boys. We'll try to update more often, hope everyone is doing well.

Farming with Grandpa

We visited the farm and got to do a little cattle farming with grandpa.

Christmas

Christmas was a riot this year, Louis kind of got the idea of presents and would tear the paper if you started it, but he was more into standing on the presents and using them as step stools. He received lots of gifts including his own miniature recliner, lots of books, clothes, toys, a homemade blanket that looks like a dog and many others.

Santa

We went out to see santa during the big snow storm a couple of weeks before christmas. Louis didn't cry but he kept looking at santa like "who are you and why are you holding me"!
